You’ll be practicing strokes\, maneuvers and rescues while actually going somewhere in your kayak\, geared up on a backcountry trip. Based out of a comfortable house base with great family meals right near the beach\, we will be able to take maximum advantage of whatever the elements throw our way. \nBecause this program is focused on a maximum of 6 paddlers with 2-3 well-qualified instructors (including some locals like Dale Williams)\, you’ll get extremely personal coaching. Whether you’d like to really strengthen your bracing or your rescues in conditions or work on navigating tides and currents or all of the above\, we’ll build the week around your own development goals. With a small group and multiple instructors\, we can offer multiple options. If you’d prefer to fly into Savanah\, we may even be to set you up with a fun rental boat like a Delphin or a Stratos for the week.
